I found this delicious dessert on Pinterest well over a year ago, but never pinned it - so I don't know the original source. If you do, please comment so I can credit (and worship) appropriately. This dessert is gooey and sweet and delicious and you should just make it. Trust me on this one.
- Cookie dough (use the frozen stuff - it works just fine)
- Ice cream (or frozen yogurt)
Seriously - that's all you need! For some reason, whenever I buy cookie dough at the store, I always think that it's supposed to go in the freezer, instead of the refridgerator. This is not true - but if you're like me, once you realize you've frozen the dough that shouldn't be frozen, take it out of the freezer and let it thaw on your counter. Go for a walk while it thaws so you don't feel too bad about eating this dessert later.
Once your dough is thawed, or, ya know, if you didn't freeze it in the first place, slice two cookies worth of dough and press it in the bottom of the ramekin. You want to put the dough at the bottom, but also a little around the edges of the ramekin.
Then bake at 350 for about 15 minutes. You don't want to cook the dough all the way to crispy - just to the point where nothing is raw anymore and the edges turn brown. Remove the ramekins from the oven and then add a scoop of ice cream (or in my case, vanilla frozen yogurt) while it's still hot.
I'm saving this recipe on one of our super cute recipe cards - which makes it so easy to share with family and friends!
