It was certainly an awards show of mixed emotions. With the passing of music legend Whitney Huston the day before the Grammys, it was both a mourning of the loss of one of music's greatest performers and a celebrations of some of it's newest and their achievements this year. The emphasis on fashion was the same as ever. While there was an overwhelming amount of black on the red carpet, there were still the crazy attention-getters that the Grammy awards are known for.
