Project Runway is back in action! With two episodes down, my heart is already racing to the finale. To kick the show back into high gear for it's new spot on Lifetime, PR delivered with not only a fresh new set of faces, but with an all-star challenge, as well. With this came eight favorite designers from seasons past: Korto Momolu, Mychael Knight, Santino Rice, Jeffrey Sebelia, Daniel Vosovic, Uli Herzner, Chris March, and Sweet P. Our favorite judges, Heidi Klum, Michael Kors, Nina Garcia, and Diane von Furstenburg (swoon), toughly narrowed it down to four favorites.
To you I pose the question: where would you wear these fashions? I've chosen my four favorite designs from the four finalists and given it my own twist for parties and nightlife.
Daniel Vosovic, winner of the all-star challenge, proved that he has come a long way since being a runner-up. His fashions were edgy and perfectly executed. They were feminine, athletic, and rockstar, all in one collection. I have paired his black and white red carpet look (due to be worn by Nicole Kidman) with a streamlined duo-tone interior and our modern cocktails invite. Tres chic.
Sweet P really surprised me this challenge. I always love her aesthetic, but she seems to get so stressed! I'm not sure why because her designs always make a statement. When the designers were given a challenge within their challenge to make a look using materials from the restaurant they were dining at, this was Sweet P's creation. So playful and girly, it ties in perfectly with our Chiavari Table Scape invite and these vintage napkin rings by Heather Bullard.
Next up is Korto, who always makes beautiful clothes that every woman would like stunning in! This pinky red carpet look she whipped up is absolutely gorgeous. How perfect would it be for a night out on the town with girlfriends? Korto's eclectic dress would look fabulous in a nightclub setting and is perfect for dancing (how about at UK's Punk Nightclub? It "has a mix of ‘punkish’ Soho NYC attributes, Parisian boudoir, and classical furnishings"). Use the Colorful City invite to get your guests excited.
Lastly is costume designer Chris March. He makes me giggle when he sleeps his way through challenges and comes out with stellar clothes! His runway looks were so dramatic and different from the rest. I've chosen this hooded look with orange tights. It is perfect for a swanky fall party, whether it be in a home setting as seen above, or out and about. What better an invite than our Fall Fashion? It sports bold patterns and natural colors, similar to our inspiration look, and makes me all fuzzy inside.
You can take party inspiration from absolutely anything! I hope to find more fashionable ideas from my favorite show as the season progresses. You can take a look at the rest of the all-star collections here. Until then readers, Tim Gunn begs us to "make it work!" I can't wait.

And we can't forget our fashion guru Tim Gunn!
He is the BEST. I can just see him now with his hand on his chin trying to word his critique delicately as well the constructively.
I keep forgetting about the new channel & time though. I'll have to get with it soon!
