Many brides fall in love with the tradition and ritual that encompasses the wedding planning process. I was one of them. I asked every woman in my life what her wedding was like, what her favorite part was, what her parents wedding was like, and tons of other questions about how it feels to be a bride and a wife. I think weddings are a tradition of sharing so I think it's great to extend traditional style to invitations as well. Don't get me wrong, I love funky and hip weddings as well- but I think sometimes traditional can be a beautiful start.
A traditional theme can be the easiest to pull off when you're on a strict budget, especially when it comes to invitations. We have tons of classic white wedding invitations and cream wedding invitations in all price ranges.
In the image above, I picked two traditional wedding invitations that have a very victorian look. The less look rings in at $91 per 100 (a wow price). It is a basic white card printed in thermography with a decorative monogram at the top. Swirls are printed above and below the monogram giving it that victorian feel. The luxe look dives further into the victorian motif with a shimmering champagne wrap embossed with a victorian floral design and a champagne satin ribbon. At $372 per 100 it is a regal and glamorous choice.
In conclusion, you can get the look for less if that's what you need. Here's a hint- typically pockets, jackets, and ribbons add to the cost of the invitation. They are beautiful embellishments to indulge in if you can. But, if you can't, you can definitely carry the theme of your wedding through a less expensive invitation.
