Cheap in PRICE not quality. The subject for this post is directed towards the planning for cost effective holiday parties and events. A lot of us are tightening up our spending and we all need to work together and share ideas on how to better our budgets this holiday season.
We can help you in a few ways. The obvious way is to point you in the right direction for some of our more cost conscious holiday invitations and holiday cards and taking advantage of our "Sort by Price" feature in order to find exactly what you're looking for!
We'd also like to keep you aware of our sales that are ALWAYS going on. We always have a sale and it is usually on a very large group of popular items for the season.
In addition to Invitations & cards check out some of these tips I came up with and hopefully they'll help you in your party planning this season!
1. Two words.. POT and LUCK. Not only is this a great idea to save money but it also makes for a potentially very interesting meal between friends and family.
2. Get crafty. Make your gifts from old photos or house hold items. Everyone will agree with me on this because it's true - that a handmade gift is more thoughtful than a bought gift. It just is. You can debate me if you want. I made my mom a birdhouse out of some scrap wood and broken up tile pieces one year and she about had a heart attack. Trust me..
(NOTE: do not re-gift)
3. Wrapping paper? DON'T DO IT! Use whatever else you can find!.. Comics, Newsprint my personal favorite.. old T-shirts or socks!
Happy Holidays!
